J E Hanger College of O & P at St Petersburg College

Bill Conroy is a junior in the JE Hanger O & P program at St Pete College. Bill says, "I had a great time at Grace Prosthetic. The skills I learned at Grace will aid me in my future endeavors. My time at Grace reminded me of why I joined the O & P program. After graduation, I would like to practice locally. A note from Cheryl: Bill is especially helpful when it comes to moving a piano!! Thanks Bill!!

J E Hanger College of O & P at St Petersburg College

Steve Schmoke is currently a junior at SPC in the O & P program. He is interested in both orthotics and prosthetics. Steve would also like to seek a degree in Physical therapy so he can see a patient all the way through their care and rehabilitation. Steve says, "I like going to Grace because of the huge base of knowledge that everyone has there. I also really enjoy the fabrication side of the professions. Everyone is helpful, and makes sure that we understand the proper way to do the fabrication. I have never been in a facility that constantly produces an exceptional product, with so many innovations in the process.I am very grateful for my time at Grace. I am not set on staying in the area and do not mind having to move out of state when I graduate in 2010. I have split my life in Michigan and Florida and prefer the 4 seasons to hurricane and brush fire seasons anytime. Eventually I would like to live out west in the four corners area.In my spare time I like to spend time with family and watch and hopefully eventually play hockey again."
